About UsAs a British journalist living near Marseille, I've often been astonished by the dearth of reliable, up-to-date tourist information in English. So I decided to build my own website. It currently focuses on the areas around Marseille, Aix en Provence, Avignon, Arles, Toulon and the Luberon. In time, it will be a complete travel guide to Provence. Updates are added regularly so, whether you're planning a weekend break, an extended stay, the purchase of your dream house or just an armchair tour of the most beautiful corner of France, do come and check regularly what's hot and fresh under the Mediterranean sun. I'm available for writing commissions (my portfolio, available on request, includes features for a wide range of British and international newspapers and magazines). Contact me, Sheila, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you are interested in working together, or if you would like to advertise or sponsor a page on the site.
In conjunction with our partners, we also organise private day tours from Marseille by limousine or mini-van to some of the most popular and beautiful destinations in the region, including Aix en Provence, Cassis, Saint Rémy de Provence, L'Isle sur La Sorge, Avignon and Les Baux de Provence. (You won't be able to visit all these in one day, of course!) This site is entirely independent and unsubsidised. So, if you like it and find it helpful, please support it by booking your travel and hotel or by visiting and buying products through our advertisers and affiliate partners.
We have affiliate arrangements with a range of providers, including booking.com, Rental Cars and GetYourGuide. They give us a small commission on accommodation or services booked through the site which helps us cover our costs, enables us to continue to expand and improve and keep access to the site free and open to all. Advertisers on this site may use cookies. By continuing to browse, you are agreeing to this use of cookies. The site is also a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk.
